Draft @ Loc Brewery during Roadburn 2025. Pours a misty yellow, white head. Light citrussy tone.. immediately clear there are no Weiss elements whatsoever here.. nicely zippy citrus coming through but pretty poor for a hopfenweiss, seems to be just a pale brewed maybe with wheat malt? Was quite looking forward to that. Oh well

75cl bottle @ Benzai's Anti-Carnival Valentine's Day Tasting, Feb 26. As before.
Draft @ Loc Brewery, Tilburg during Roadburn. Deep hazed brown with a good creamy beige head. Aroma brings some toffee, ostensible rye grain and dried dark fruit. Flavour profile builds on this with some burnt toast and a moderate candy rock sweetness, though starts to feel a little thin bodied, drying close.. ok overall.

Tap at the brewpub, shared with the chefs. Apparently this is a new, lower ABV version, I havent had the DIPA, but this one is a decent, oldschool American ipa. Some pine, some citruses, some caramel malts, but still decidedly on the bitter side. Not bad.

Tap at the brewpub, shared with the chefs. I have an evergrowing love for farmhouse beers so I was pretty happy to see one on tap, but my happyness quickly turned into a mix of other feelings. Messy, unbalanced, and super held back, even for a small beer it has very little character.
