Black with creamy beige head. Aroma is chocolate coffee powder molasses, stout stuff. Taste is creamy syrupy chocolate with some alcohol and earthy sourness. A bit too much of everything for my taste but a decent imitation of the style. Very dry and creamy. Slight spicyness while swallowing.

Bottle 0.75l. Almost clear, gold colored. AROMA- malty, interesting tones of marzipan, spicy and floral hops, slight touch of apricot. FLAVOR- neutral, very smooth, malt base, delicate noble hop tones. Medium bodied.

Sample @ U Kunstatu, Praha. Pours hazy golden, with a creamy head. Aroma is tropical hops, with pine, and sweet notes of orange peel and some malts. Medium body, with soft carbonation. Flavour is hoppy notes of orange peel and tropical fruits, as well as malts.

Bottle from Beer Station. Malty aroma, caramel, coffee, cigar. Black color, almost no head. Malty taste, light hopy notes, coffee, cigar, caramel, light sweet, medium bitter. Medium to full body, slick texture, almost flat carbonation. Ok.

Bottle sample at a tasting at kerenmk’s place. Thanks zvsn. Black with some tan foam. Dark fruits, chocolate, roast, a bit of alcohol, a bit of cherries, coffee hint, licorice note, sweet, bitterish note, quite full-bodied, rounded mouthfeel. Very good.

Tocené (@Zlý Casy, Nusle): Deep golden, hazy, medium-sized stable white head, fruity-sourish nose, grains and hops detectable; moderate to solid bitter-sweet flavour, nearly medium bodied; lingering dry grainy-herbal finish. Presumably not well kept, all in all disappointing...
