Sample (thanks omhper!). Deep golden colour, small white head. Aroma is floral, some toffeeish, mild grainy and some sweet tones. Flavour is spruce, toffee, some grainy, nectary and mild sweet malty tones. Rather malty and sweet if this really is supposed to be a Helles.

330ml bottle. Minimally cloudy, pale yellow-ish, golden colour with small to average, frothy, half-way lasting, minimally lacing, white head. Minimally herbal and earthy, lemonade aroma, notes of lemon, a touch of lime, grainy, malty undertones. Taste is minimally herbal-earthy, citrusy fruity, notes of lemon, a touch of lime, minimally grainy, pale malty basis, subtle sweetness, a touch of citric acid. Minimally oily, watery texture, smooth and soft palate, medium, mildly prickly carbonation. Nice fruit flavours, no hints of artificiality - nice.

Gold with a frothy, white head. Mildly floral aroma with a grainy hint. Taste is the highlight: a delicate hoppy bitterness balances nicely against an apple-like fruity sweetness. Finishes with a lingering floral character. Medium-bodied, smooth, refreshing. About as good as it gets for the style.

--Bottled, from Die Bierothek. -- Clear golden, rich creamy head. Deep malt aroma. Sweetish with mediumbody and soft mouthfeel. Cream, cushiony malt dominates this beer, faint floral hops. Very malty helles. Really harmonious.

Taste is sweet-ish, minimally biscuity, pale malty, moderately bitter, slightly floral and fruity, minimally grassy, hoppy, hints of yellow apple, pear, a touch of mirabelle, protein; lingering, mildly bitter hoppy finish with a minimally metallic touch. Minimally creamy and oily, watery texture, minimally dry palate, medium, mildly prickly carbonation. Well balanced, clean, some nice subtleties - OK.

Rather weak, clean, pale malty and minimally grassy, hoppy aroma, a minimally biscuity and grainy touch. Taste is sweet-ish, biscuity, pale malty, slightly leafy hoppy, minimally doughy yeasty; lingering, moderately bitter, minimally grassy hoppy finish. Minimally creamy-oily, watery texture, smooth, soft and silky palate, fine, soft, mildly prickly carbonation. Very clean, simple and focussed, well crafted - nice.
