We are named after the silver carp, the very fat fish roaming the rivers and lakes of Europe. Its shape resembles the body of one our brewers after he quit rowing. With all the fat he gained the nickname Lobik came included. From the look of things the whole team will earn the nickname rather soon.
The goal of the brewery from the very beginning has remained the same. It means making the beers we like to drink. Admittedly it means they are a bit heavy on the alcohol and complex with its tastes. Consequentially it means we use the highest quality of ingredients. Anyway, enough about us. We just hope you like our beers and drink them with the joy we do!

Bottle from the brewers. Pours very cloudy and pale orange colour topped with a very small and non-lasting white head. A full basket of tropical fruits with pineapple upfront, mixed with some elder scent. Medium but lon lasting fruity sweetness, balanced by medium hoppy bitterness with short aftertaste. Medium body and very enjoyable. Nice one

Pours a pitch black, topped with a medium beige head. Very creamy, silky and full body. Nice chocolate aroma - the quality of milky chocolate with some mild roasty notes from the back. Taste is sweet, quite milky with chocolate. A hint of noble alcohol warmth. A bit of coffee in the aftertaste, but whort and doesn’t cover the nice chocolate. Very nice one.

0,33l bottle bought at Pivarna Maribor drunk at my hotel room. BB 14.11.2016. light yellow very murky color, small white head. smells citric, some grapefruit zest, spices, peppery, lemonade. bit weird smell, fruit notes dont work together so well. medium body, light carbonation, slick mouthfeel. tastes of grapefruit zest, spices, peppery, herbs, resin. finishes light to medium bitter with some zesty and peppery / spicy notes. kinda weird one, the different notes just dont blend together very well, just ok.

Pours a completely hazy amber color, topped with a huge off-white foamy head. Very intense fruity aroma, tropical notes, citruses, pineapple, mango and so on. Some piney notes way in the back. Hoppy bitterness all over the place, extra strong hoppy bomb throughout with lasting and strong aftertaste (a bit wormwood-like). Medium light body, alcohol perfectly hidden and all in all hoppy bomb.

Pours a hazy golden color, topped with medium sized and lasting white head. Starts with mild spices in the nose, aided by some sweet fruity notes. Medium bodied, presented by mild sweetness and mild bittery feel, then followed by intense herbaal nad spicy notes, a bit of shampooand very lasting aftertaste. Dry finish and not the best one by these guys.

Pours dark brown, almost black, topped with a rather small beige head. Quite intense roasty aroma, not much else can be picked up. Pleasant chocolate sweetness upfront, slight nuttiness and alcohol warmth. Mild fruity notes later on, plums, and some decent coffee. Very gentle bittery feel, some alcohol and chocolate aftertaste. Pretty full body and pretty nice.
