Blik thuis geprobeerd, het is een licht troebel amberkleurig bier met een grote licht beige schuim. Het aroma is moutig, licht bloemig met tonen van karamel en noten. Het heeft een zacht zoete, moutige smaak met tonen van karamel en noten, gevolgd door een wat bittere afdronk.

0.33 l can from 'Hetbiermoment.nl', best before September 2027. Slightly hazy, deep reddish amber with a medium large, foamy, almost stable, off-white head. Sweetish-malty, slightly fruity-floral aroma of caramel, nuts and some raisins. Gently sweet, malty, moderately bitter, slightly fruity-floral taste of caramel, nuts, some honey and light raisins, followed by a short, moderately bitter finish. Medium body, gently effervescent mouthfeel, soft carbonation. Decent ale, quite pleasant but not overly outspoken, lacks that British character though.
