Can from Eltham Wines. Hazy gold pour with a white head. Nose is tangerine, peach,grapefruit. Taste is tangerine, tropical fruit, pineapple,grapefruit. Hop laden mouthfeel with a spot of sweet fruit coming through in the back end.

Can at home, from HOTM online, 21/05/22. Pitch black with a good sized tan covering. Nose is coffee grinds, bitter roast, spice, charr, cacao nibs, molasses, burnt sugars, toffee crisp. Taste comprises roasted bite, light ashen tones, charr, dried fruit rinds, coffee bean, brown melt, molasses. Full bodied, fine carbonation, semi drying close with a balanced rising boost. Solid impy stout ... packed with flavour and more so well balanced ... good bitter roasty edge abounds and never runs too sweet.

Can. Very hazy orange gold beer, good cream colour head. Nose is pine, soft skunk and citric hops. Airy palate, semi dry, a good fine biting minerally crispness. Fluffy malts, a nice light creamy sweetness. Citra and Nelson Sauvin bring crisp piney citrus run through with a slightly savory skunk. There is a little bright orange and tangerine in the citrus. Light airy crispy finish delivers a decent amount of hop spice. Tastes like a green hop Citra dipa to me. Struggling to find the Nelson element, maybe a little gooseberry on the end. Crisp, bright and pretty drinkable. A little less green hop character would have pleased me but this is a good dipa.

On tap at Brew Festival. An unclear yellow-golden colored beer with a dense finger-thick white head. The aroma is grapefruity and piney, like a freshly opened bag of citrusy hops, with hints of pale malts. It's full to medium bodied, nicely carbonated and with a light bitterness. The flavor has some pale malts in the back, with grapefruit and pine cones up front. Long finish. A bit one dimensional this one, but refreshing and quite tasteful anyway. 220430
