Bottle from Pivni Mosaika. Is it a bock? Is it a polotmavy? Is it both? The Untappd entry has a different description than the one I entered here, which is straight from the bottle, but neither one is particularly enlightening. Pics on Untappd too. Anyway, it's clear golden amber in color with a white edge head. Caramel biscuit aroma. Taste is burnt caramel on toast, light black pepper. Decent.

PET-Lahev( z výborného balíku; dinky do jezera!!!) Almost clear, deep golden to chestnut-amber coloured; sweet-bitter honeyish-malty and mildly toasty nose, herbal hops underneath; mild to moderate bitter-sweet flavour, nearly medium bodied, lingering drier toasty-fruity and herbal-bitter finish. Dobré pivo, ale bých řekl, že silné pivo z Bavorska je lepší...

PETka from the brewpub. Deep black, small beige head. Dry start, medium-bodied, very low sweetness, dark and roasted malts, coffee flavours, shy earthy hops in the finish.

@ the brewery restaurant. Hazy deep golden with a tall and creamy white head. Fruity nose. Full-bodied, pleasantly sweet malty flavours with fruity hints.

@ the brewery restaurant. Deep brown colour, mid-sized beige head. Chocolatey with coffee, quite dry with low malty sweetness. Nice one.

@ the brewpub. Golden with a tall and creamy white head, promising hop aroma. Medium-bodied, good malty flavours with an addition of lovely Saaz hops, very aromatic, leaving an bitter finish. Smooth palate. Delicious stuff.

Bottle @ Home. 11,7 % ABV. Pours dark brown with a fading offwhite head. Aroma of malt, caramel, yeast, wheat, sweet fruit, banana, alcohol. Flavor is sweet, rich malty, caramel, wood, some licorice, sweet fruit, little banana, alcohol. Medium to full body, light oily mouthfeel, average to lively carbonation, sweet finish with warming alcohol. 101117
