Bottle from Pivni Mosaika. Is it a bock? Is it a polotmavy? Is it both? The Untappd entry has a different description than the one I entered here, which is straight from the bottle, but neither one is particularly enlightening. Pics on Untappd too. Anyway, it's clear golden amber in color with a white edge head. Caramel biscuit aroma. Taste is burnt caramel on toast, light black pepper. Decent.

Almost clear, deep golden to chestnut-amber coloured; sweet-bitter honeyish-malty and mildly toasty nose, herbal hops underneath; mild to moderate bitter-sweet flavour, nearly medium bodied, lingering drier toasty-fruity and herbal-bitter finish. Bottle @ Home. 11,7 % ABV. Pours dark brown with a fading offwhite head. Aroma of malt, caramel, yeast, wheat, sweet fruit, banana, alcohol. Flavor is sweet, rich malty, caramel, wood, some licorice, sweet fruit, little banana, alcohol. Medium to full body, light oily mouthfeel, average to lively carbonation, sweet finish with warming alcohol. 101117

Tap at Zil verne. Slightly boozy, alcohol comes through somewhat sharply. Mostly malty, caramelly and sugary, with the booze providing balance. Moderate bitterness, grassy, slightly cheesy. Average.

0.66l bottle. Hopy and malty aroma, grapefruit and other citrus fruit. Clear golden color, thick white head. Hopy and malty taste, citrus fruit, light grassy notes, medium bitter. Medium to full body, oily texture, soft carbonation and hopy bitter finish. Good.
