Can, given to me by a lad at work. 8 months past it’s BBD. And it’s bloody lovely. Hazed dark pinky amber. Slim head. Nicely leggy. Fuck knows what a French Martini is, but this is all sweet raspberry and vanilla. Zested ripe citrus. It’s like pudding. Taste is sweet and fruity with a ripe fruit bitterness. Super easy drinking. It’s unreal this is 12%. Hugely fruity juicy finish. Ridiculous.

(Draught at Protokoll, Berlin, 21 Apr 2023) Black colour with creamy, beige head. Malty, roasted nose with dark chocolate, coffee, vanilla and tonka beans. Malty, roasted taste with notes of black coffee, chocolate, vanilla, tonka beans, cacao and a balanced cacao bitterness in the finish. Full body, thick and oily mouthfeel. Quite sweet. Rich, powerful and really tasty. Very nice.

Draft. A deep red beer with a pink head. The aroma has notes of blueberries, lactose and malt. The flavor is sweet with notes of blueberries, lactose, straw, and malt, leading to a dry finish. Blueberry smoothie but not much resemblance of a DIPA.

Tap at Taphouse, Copenhagen 09/08/2023 Dark sweet malty with lots of caramel and toffee, dried fruit shred, nice spices running throughout, full bodied, warming spiced malty finish. Lovely.

Draught @ SKAAL Sønderborg, Øllets Dag 2023. Pours cloudy very dark brown with airy tan head. Clear aroma of coffe and hops, with malty and estery touches. Bitter, roasty and hoppy flavour with notes of malt and barrel and touches of yeast and dried fruit. Barrellike and malty aftertaste. Warming alcohol presence. Decent.

Draught. Great coffee aroma. Black colour. The flavour has a great coffee note. Mild and pleasant. Creamy and not bitter. Fruity and well-rounded. Just enough sweetness, and with a little acid in the finish.

Draught @ SKAAL Sønderborg, Øllets Dag 2023. Pours hazy dark red with airy pinkish head. Clear aroma of berries, malt, with notes of cake and touches of malt and yeast. Dert flavour of berries, with sweet notes of chocolate and touches of malt and yeast. Berrylike aftertaste with notes of cake and malty touches. Good work.

Draught. Sweet vanilla and berry aroma. Deep red colour. Small red head. The flavour is slightly sweet with a deep berry note. Some alcohol bitterness, but does not taste 12 percent. Good, though.

Can at home from Mikkeller & Friends Bottle Shop 21/07/2023 Heard so much about this and it certainly doesn’t disappoint with a lovely aroma and taste bringing layers of sweet caramel and toffee, cocoa accents, dried fruit shred, intense bourbon and whisky coalesce throughout, lingering malty finish. Exquisite.
