Tap at FOB, Rimini, Italy. Pours dark brown, almost black, with no foam. Aroma is mostly vanilla and cacao beans at first, with the pepper character coming out later Body is fairly dense, sticky, in particular after the first approach. Taste starts fairly sweet, but then the expected roasty bitterness and quite a peppery feeling emerge as dominant in the final.

Creamy off-white good fully lasting head. Amber colour. Moderate malty and light hoppy and moderate yeasty aroma. Moderate sweet and bitter flavor. Strong caramel notes. Average moderate bitter finish. Creamy palate.

Draft. A very dark brown beer with a dark brown head. The aroma has notes of chocolate, peppermint, roasted malt, and lots of barrel aging. The flavor is sweet with notes of port wine, bourbon, alcohol, chocolate, roasted malt, and peppermint chocolate, leading to a bitter finish. Crazy - maybe a bit too intense.

Can shared with my girlfriend. Pours a somewhat hazy light orange/yellow, small head. Aroma is tropical and juicy. Full body. Flavour is malty, fruity, sweet. Nice.

vintage 2021 can. hoptimaal deluxe calendar 2023 #16 purs dark brown, smooth small brown head. Chai spices and chocolate dominates, it does really have the aroma of a chai latte, only more chocolate and a bit of roasted malts. plus points for creative and interesting. flavor is chocolate cake and christmas pudding and some chai latte like flavors. in a way this is a lot like the Danish christmas beer tradition where the brewer empties the entire spice cabinet into the brewing kettle. Overall a bit too sweet n spicy, more interesting than good. The aroma was more refined and smooth and balancing than was the flavor. it's a sipper bc it is so spicy, and bc it is a bit over the top, so have to be enjoyed slowly.
