Cask @ Kay’s Bar. This is a premium bitter. Clear amber colour, creamy dense off-white head. Nose is caramel, citrus, barnyard, hay, maybe bit of oak. Flavour is fruity, malty, caramel, touch of hay. Medium bodied. This is something different. Very well done.

Bottle at Fin & Loz’s tasting with Jan, Charlotte, Craig, Stella & kids consumed 21.10.11 Craig brought this beer along, cheers Craig! Touch smokey at first, mmhh.. a little peaty, iodine but then the hops start to come through. Hops are very fresh in this beer, really green and clean tasting, some cocoa also coming into play in the mouth, its a nice beer. Quite impressed with these three beers from Tempest. Bottle at Fin & Loz’s tasting with Jan, Charlotte, Craig, Stella & kids consumed 21.10.11 Craig brought this beer along, cheers Craig! A little sulphour on the nose initially. I must say I am finding this much better than the Caligula, it pours a good colour amber with a nice white bubbly head. Hops are very zappy but there is a nice sweetness carrying through with this one that wasn’t there with the Caligula, some pine and citrus combining on the tongue to great effect. Its a very good beer. b> A7 A4 T7 P4 Ov15 3.7

Bottle at Fin & Loz’s tasting with Jan, Charlotte, Craig, Stella & kids consumed 21.10.11 Craig brought this beer along, cheers Craig! Pours dark brown with a light beige head. This is really quite hoppy from the off. The hops real shine, though I have to say after a while I am finding them just a tad harsh and most unusually I would welcome a little more sweetness in this to soften things out a bit. Touch soapy at times, but it really is about the hops and they dominate. A7 A4 T6 P3 Ov13 3.3
