Thick cream-tan head, reasonably stable over black beer. Chocolate, peanuts, dark sweet malts, some coffee. Coffee much more prominent in the taste, roasted malts, again some peanuts and other nutty streaks. Finish is a bit empty, dry. Well-bodied, almost chewy, oatmeal giving a creamy feel. Not that bad, but for a bold stout it is way too demure. Thanks to Stef!
