My 25th Heavy Reel beer rating! 16 ounce can stolen from Mike B’s cooler on Labor Day weekend by my son Sean. I stole it from him. Hazy, yellow gold pour. Frothy white head. Spotty lacing. Aromas of light grain and lemongrass. Flavor is light, crisp and refreshing. Soft, dry mouthfeel. Distinct notes of lemongrass and white peppercorns. Would definitely pair well with sushi and other Asian cuisine.

16 ounce can from Libby’s Liquors. Number one with a bullet. Hazy yellow gold pour. Large, pillowy white head. Aromas of fresh citrus and white grapes. Flavor is sweet, juicy citrus. Notes of pink grapefruit, orange, lemon and white grapes. Some peppery notes in middle. Mildly dank pine in finish. Very tasty.

Can from Tavour. Pours clear gold with a moderate white head. Aroma is floral/herb/citrus. Near med body. It''s bready but dry. Nicely bitter. Flavor is floral, bergamot and some other citrus. A bit spicy.

Can from Tavour. Pours dark amber with an off-white creamy head. Aroma is amber malt in a bready way. Med body or so. Malty and not dry, but there is some balancing bitter which seems floral. Decent for the style.
Suuuper creamy
It’s like a smoothie Berliner. Great mango and vanilla character, a touch of yogurt-y funk, and the cardamom comes through strong but works surprisingly well. Fantastic.

16 oz can from Paragon, 2/20/25. Unclear yellowish color with a larger foamy froth of white head that leaves heavy lace on the glass. Grapefruit and pineapple. Lemon zest. Pine. Light melon. Fairly bitter. Very drinkable. Fun beer. Old school IPUs up in here.
