(Can 3.8%) Pours black with big loose tan head. Aroma of dark roast malt. Medium body, lively, rather fizzy carbonation. Taste is dark roast malt with notes of dark chocolate. Pleasant easy drinking.

Can while in Forbes. Hazy pale golden colour with a white head. Aroma and taste are creamy sweet and slight juicy citrus. Smooth body.

Can (Mr Mama). Pale gold with a loose white head. Taut fruity aroma of lemon drops, mango, passionfruit, crackers. Then the taste is a little bit more golden ale than guessed with a little bit of marmalade and dusty bitterness. Refreshing.

Schooner on tap at Harajuku Gyoza, Sydney. Looks gorgeous, golden honey with a firm foamy white head. High fine carbonation. Lightly citric nose with just a hint of dank woody hops. Full bodied and viscous, surprisingly so. Aftertaste is bitter lemon with nettles. These Yoyogi beers always surprise, this is an IPA but with a 'chewy' contemplative consistency. Not a quaffer but fun to drink while watching the Sunday Darling Harbour crowds.

Schooner on tap at Harajuku Gyoza, Darling Harbour. Pale amber beer with thin white head. High fine carbonation. Nose of fruit and cardboard. Malt, fruit and nettles all jumbled up together. Lingering herbal finish. These Yoyogi beers certainly are different! Not bad just different.

Schooner on tap at Harajuku Gyoza, Darling Harbour. Mahogany red/brown beer with large foamy head. Very very slight whiff of cucumber. Light mouthfeel with sharp effervence. These Yoyogi beers are weird, this looks like a Tooheys Old but tastes like an old cardboard chocolate box. Easy-drinking 'roasted' lager, I think.

Schooner on tap at Harajuku Gyoza Stadium, Darling Harbour. Meaty nose, full of umami. Flat pale amber beer with a thin white head. Crisp, light mouthfeel. Like expensive mineral water with a slight bitter lemon finish. Very dry but not very involving.
