Can from lowcostbeer.com, 2 weeks past BBE. Hazy dark gold, moderate sized off-white head, leaves a nice top with plenty of lacing. Aroma is grains, caramel, herbal, citrus, stone fruits. Taste is caramel, bread, aniseed, citrus zest, apricot, spice. Bitter finish. On the lighter side of medium bodied considering the 7.1% ABV and oats being present, soft carbonation. A very interesting zesty and aniseed noted IPA with a decent malt background. Almost a cracker but the flavours meander away in the finish leaving just a bitter note. Maybe its age.

Can from lowcostbeer.com, consumed 2 weeks past BBE. Pours a hazy dark gold/amber, small white head Aroma is quite malty with dough and caramel notes, citrus zest, some earthiness. Taste is the same with an earthy bitterness running through, some pine. Medium bodied and a moderate zingy carbonation. Its a good beer but for a craft IPA it doesn't really stand out.
