Monday, 1st April 2024; Monthly gathering in Chez Sophie, Shrewsbury. Five guys with beers to share and stories to tell. 75cl bottle, cheers Mike for this. Tanned crown on a dark brown body. Rum and coconut rule the roost in this fairly sweet Imperial Stout, a bit like a boozy 'Bounty'.

75cl bottle @ monthly tasting, Chez Sophie, April 24. Thanks Mike for this. Pours a deep dark colour with a deep tan head. Aroma brings a noticeably rum presence alongside coconut and dark roasted malts. Shed loads of coconut to taste with a nice rum influence. Excellent BA stout overall, probably the best in this blender series.

Bottle shared at CBJ - cheers! Pours black-brown with a small, foamy brown head. Medium sweet flavour with notes of well toasted malts, bit of ash, toasted marshmallows, wood, booze. Full bodied with fine carbonation. Ashy finish, warming, burnt sugars. Not bad.

19th February 2024; Shrewsbury Gathering, five blokes and loads of beer to share. My last beer of the session, cheers Mike for the 750ml bottle of this. Red body, off-white too pinkish head on top. Semi-sour berries rule the roost here, tart from the off, light woody undertones from the barrel aging.
