12 oz. can. Pours a clear, straw color, with a medium, frothy, white head. The aroma is dank resin, clover honey, butterscotch, and bread dough. Sweet and syrupy, with a smooth bitterness. Light body, with a slick, zesty palate. This is an easy and well balanced light beer.

BIL growled and brought to the midwest. Very good - the uniqueness of raspberry meets basil in the finish. really enjoyable

They call it a habanero pale ale, it’s a hazy pink. A bit if a bite, not much bitterness. A bit of blueberry dominant. Odd beer. Maxline Fort Collins

A solid rather mild drinkable version of the style. Still has the oily big body mouth feel, but at an acceptable abv. The barrel is perfect, the sweetness overpowers the roast and bitterness just a hair. Maxline Fort Collins

On tap @ the Steakout Saloon. My first Maxline beer. Black appearance with a big fluffy dark brown head. Aroma has oats, anise, raisins, char, and coffee notes. Medium body. Moderate to moderate plus sweetness. Moderate low bitterness. Flavor is burnt and chalky with some black licorice. Not horrible by any means but as a first impression, it doesn’t exactly convince me to go out of my way to try others by the brewery.
