330ml bottle. Minimally milky, dark brown colour with ruby shimmer and small, bubbly, fading, minimally lacing, off-white head. Fruity, mildly funky and woody aroma, notes of dark fruit, prune, blackberry, blackcurrant, hints of oak, a touch of morello, whiffs of vanilla. Taste is sour, fruity, slightly tangy and woody, notes of unripe bramble, blackcurrant, some oak, morello, a touch of vinegar. Slightly oily texture, astringent and slightly dry, simultaneously minimally greasy palate, fine, scattered, mildly prickly carbonation. Fairly balanced, sour but not too sour, slightly restrained complexity - better than just nice.

Pint (Keg) at one of the bars inside Mercato Metropolitan on 20th November 2023. Pale golden body, white crown. Refreshing and 'bright' but not very exciting.

On tap at London Beer Factory, pours a hazy golden with a tiny small white head. Aroma brings out red wine grape skins, lots of bugs, and woody oak barrels. Flavour is buggy and vinous, with lots of red wine grape skins, oak, and wild yeast. Complex and nice use of the bugs. I think I slightly prefer the Chardonnay but this is really solid too.

On tap at London Beer Factory, pours a hazy golden blonde with a small white head. Aroma brings out lots of white wine grape skins, wild yeast, and some woody oakiness. Flavour is complex, with lots of wood, wild yeast, white wine, and some fry funk. Buggy, vinous and oaky. Excellent.

On tap at London Beer Factory, pours a clear golden with a tiny head. Aroma brings out very sour grape skins, citrus and some bugs. Flavour brings out acidic plums, generic stone fruits, bugs, and some white wine. Too herbal and vegetal. Meh.
