Cask pint on 18th Nov 2016 in The Paxton (West Norwood) and a keg half-pint at the brewery on 19th Nov 2016. Both golden, clear pours with white heads: keg version a bit more carbonated as you’d expect. Floral nose with a tropical fruit leaning, citrus flavoured with both grapefruit and pineapple to the fore. Liked it in both forms.

Can. Hazy gold beer, tidy cream colour head. Palate is airy, semi dry and has reasonable fine carbonation. Light pale malts, a little dry and mildly sweet. Light pine. Bitterish orange, some pith and peel. Touch of spice. Light and fairly dry finish reveals a whisper of something tropical. Not bad.

Canned. Golden colour, small white head. Aroma is zesty, some nectary notes along with mild pine, spruce and some sweet malts as well. Flavour is zesty, some tropical fruits, nice mellow but biting bitterness and some toffee as well. Nice and refreshing with a good balance of the stuff.

Can@SBWF2015. Yellow colour, small white head. Aroma is floral, grassy, some herbal and mild sprucelike notes. Flavour is grassy, herbal, some dusty notes as well as some grains. A bit too dusty for it’s own good.

Can sourced from Good Taste Food and Drink, Crystal Palace, London shared with the Fam/Steatham (29/08/2016) - dark brown pour with beige head. Toasted and medium roasted malty, cocoa, caramel, coffee, pretty decent easy going stout and loved the can artwork :)
