Great fresh hops aroma on nose here. Fresh pine and light grapefruit. Hazy orange pour. Bitter finish. Malt aroma has something a little off like eyelid twitches. Tap at brewpub.

Lots of coconut water rather than the dried, stronger fruit aroma you usually get in coconut porters. Makes it unique like redhead triplets. Dark brown pour with decent head and lacing. Sweet finish with some bitterness. Tap at brewpub.

12 oz bottle I picked up at the brewery when I visited on Nov 21st, 2015 while in Nassau on a cruise. With no WiFi I didn’t enter the beers or place rating until now, the notes languishing in my phone’s memory. Taster at the brewery and the bottle consumed at the Pirates dress up dinner that night. Nose is molasses and chocolate with a hint of char. Black with a small tan head. Flavor is lightly bitter with lots of molasses.

Bottle picked up during a cruise visit to Nassau, Bahamas and shared at the 3rd Ipswich bottle share. Pours black with a good sized off white head. Aroma is malty, fruity, chocolate. Moderate sweetness and bitterness. Full bodied and very thick texture. Soft carbonation. Slightly dry, lasting chocolate finish. Possibly the best Bahaman beer?
