Taster at Colorado Plus. Pours black, with a big, frothy, beige head. The aroma is harsh coffee, chicory, lots of earth, and pine sap. Harshly bitter. Medium to heavy body, with a sharp, acrid mouthfeel. This is not a very pleasant stout.

Sample at GABF 10/07/2017, thanks to my bro for assistance with note-taking. Clear orange-gold color with a thin white head that diminishes quickly. Sticky strings of lace. Tropical fruit, hops and coconut in the nose. Medium body with flavors of pineapple, mild herbal hops and coconut. The finish is fruity with a coconut and hops aftertaste. Above average overall.

Aroma of gin botanicals, hops and malt. Medium body with flavors of juniper, herbal hops and malt. The finish is slightly oaky with a gin and hops aftertaste. Decent overall.

I had this at BruFrou but apparently it is part of a month long event at the brewery called Shorter Days, Lager Nights. It was a semi-opaque gold with whispy white head and sweet pils and pepper aroma. Crisp clean bready pilsner with good sweetness and the green peppercorns added a good dose complexity without becoming gimmicky. Nicely balanced, I thought it was pretty good.

Tap @ Wild Woods. Pours a clear dark orange appearance with an off white head. Gummy bear, fruity, sweet malty aroma. Sweet goopy malty, bubblegum, orange fruity, a bit woody flavor. Tangy and blah but pretty smooth for the booze.
