500ml bottle from the brewery, like $8. Baby Duvel glass @home. So. Much. Wax. Orange golden, opaque but wanting to be clear. Uneven, lace all over. Sticky orange sauce, flower blossoms, agave, lime, candied zest. Bittersweet, honey, walnuts, very light marzipan, rose water, leafy. Super faint wine barrel. Starchy, waxy, frothy. Fine for the listed abv. Drinks pretty good.

On tap @TreeRock. Goblet. Hazy pale raspberry, super frothy. Cranberry apple juice box, diluted fresh raspberry nose. Semisweet. Thinned out raspberry jam, cherry Jello, touch of lemon honey. Residual indifferent wax. Not as bold as the blackberry melomel. Slick, frothy, mellow acidity, very slight tartness. Atrociously low carbonation. Good.

Goblet @Whistlehop. Bright, clear cherry pour, lingering white froth. Subtle fruit, yeasty nose. Bright, jammy, strawberry/raspberry/orange combo. Starburst citrus candy, punch flavor. Ton of hibiscus in here. Perfectly carbed, frothy, just tart enough. Great.

Goblet @Whistlehop. Clear, orange cranberry. Soft thyme, cherry pits & soft toast. Good start. Thin, sweet cherry, faint tartness. Backwash of honey & veggie bitterness. Smells better than it tastes. Solid to good.

Another half pour @Whistlehop. Pretty pink grapefruit haze. Smell is deep blackberry & raspberry drizzle. Booze, vanilla & soft grain. Taste is mixberry vanilla sorbet, solid tartness on the finish. Slight slurry, hidden abv, light acid, never cloying. Great.

Half pint @Whistlehop. Cloudy, iced tea, lacy pour. Nose is tea & berry skin, strong bitter pine. Soft veg & pine bitterness, lingering sweet tea, grape skin, no obvious fruit. Lightly sweet & sessionable. Okay to good.

Half pint @Whistlehop. Dull black with brown highlights; weak cocoa head. Softly sweet cocoa, slight green pepper nose. Sweet cola, mellow cocoa, some green chili acidity but barely. Warm, milky texture. Okay. Could be way better.

On tap @Whistlehop. One of my favorites of the day. Mostly clear, honey tea pour. Smells slightly warm & toasty lager with enough roasty pumpkin puree. Taste is toasty pie crust, bitter-sweet(edging dry) lager & tasty charred pumpkin. Dry, peppery finish. Excellent.

Short pour @Whistlehop. Pale gold, American Wheat, coarsely filtered. Very faint natural banana fruit, soft citrus pith & yeast. Taste is really gentle banana fruit flavor, whipped cream, & very pedestrian Belgian esters. Just a twinge of veggie bitterness, like a cream ale. Flavors are just a little watered down. Thin, frothy, well carbed, not very yeasty. Surprisingly quaffable. Okay to good.
