On tap @BarnDoor. Taster. Deep gold, almost clear. Flowery, dessert apple nose. Somewhat yeasty. Grape-y, watery, earthy. Whiskey & lemon. Soft acid, low tartness. Feathery sweetness. Low tannins. No barrel. Very mellow, but not too bland. Low but punchy carbonation. Thin & easy. Obviously low abv. Honest & easy. Good for what it is.

On tap @BarnDoor. Taster glass x2. Palest of the bunch, but worth a second visit. Almost white gold color, settled but not clear. Soft, sharp, earthy scent. Thin, fruity, noticeably sharp, quite bright & acidic, decently bitter tannins on the finish, despite the description. Leaning dry, dessert fruit. No staying power, but well rounded & honestly flavorful. Possibly still too sour for my pedestrian wife. Still can't find one she likes. Thin, low to flat carbonation despite the tap. Low sediment, low abv for my tastes. Most everything goes well with their snacks. Good.

Bottle from the cidery, 7.5% edition. Stemless wineglass @home. Faded, pale gold. Opaque. Chalk, weak melon, watery/non-descript apples, slight acetone. Dusty pineapple, melon, grocery apple sweetness. Strong acid, mellow tartness. Acetone, faint Sidra familiarity, soft but building vinegar twang. Neutral barrel. Soft, practically non-existent fizzle of carbonation. Watery. Yeasty. ABV is noticeable & warming. Okay. Prefer the sharp tartness & stronger fruit of the sour version.

500ml bottle from the cidery. NB goblet @home. Dusty pale gold. Carbed. Lemon, chalk, earth, undefined unripe fruit, rubbing alcohol, dust. Taste is sharp & lingering sour lemon, eventually rounding into a mellow apple-grape flavor. Somewhat tannic, slightly veggie, with a light hit of vinegar at the end. Not completely dry. I don't get the barrel this time but there's a vague twang, much less then actual funk. Very mellow carbonation, building to a strong, clenching acidity. Thin, chalky, watery texture. Alcohol is apparent but middling. Sulfites are apparent but sleepy. Drinks like a disinfected Sidra. Okay.

On tap @TreeRock. Baby goblet. Semi-transparent, pale, straw, still. Dusty, mildly sour, faded phenolic Sidra nose. Yeast, lime, tart apples, vinegar, calcium. Not sour. Good acidity. Very low carbonation, basically flat. Powdery. Softer then most other offerings here.

Bottle from the cidery. Wine glass @home. Mostly clear, dull straw gold body. Nose needs a little breathing, it's a bit sulphor-y/stinky. Otherwise, iron-y apples, gum, glue, grass clippings, saline. Basically, a mild Sidra. Taste is a rounded, slightly sweet zest. Lemon/lime sorbet, acidic apples, chewing gum, honeydew, red table grapes, hay, yeasties, juicy with a lightly tannic finish. Good mellow carbonation, lingering acid, yeasty body. More complex flavors than I was expecting. Good.

Bottle from Barn-Door. Pint glass @home. Spritzy, clouded, yellow gold. Smells of sour orange, lime, saline, gum, American Sidra. Juicy, chalky, acidic & melon-y apples. Bit of vinegar twang, slow simmering half sour, lemon, plastic, residual yeast, parching. Low carbonation, low perceived ABV, lingering acidity. Not wild fermented, but maybe the house yeast is kinda untamed? Good.

On tap @ Bar Door. Short 10oz pint glass. Clear, pale, looks just like their Wildings. Harsh, reeking of whiskey. Super boozy apple jack flavor, but dry. Rubbing alcohol, light pith, somewhat parching finish. Hard. Was told this was a fairly new barrel & some of the product was being used to make cider cocktails as well. Subsequent batches should be softer. No thanks.
