Clear, vibrant, amber pour. Smell is big on fruity habaneros. Nothing else. Strawberry jam & habaneros. Fruity peppers, but more green than usual, like jalepeno. Super obvious. Pricky, not spicy. Taste is malic acid, pretty tart, softly smokey, habanero fruit. Expect heartburn. Well done, but these one-sided flavors are pretty boring after a few sips. Some slick body. Hidden abv. Okay.

Bottle pour @TreeRock. Bright vibrant clear, metallic. Smell is complex spices, alcohol & wax. Obvious black pepper is inviting. Taste is mellow lime & a slew of bold spices. Not cinnamon dominant. Carob, some burnt milk sugar or honey. Residual sweetness, but not too much. Slick, strong, bit too bold to drink a lot. Interesting.

Baby goblet @TreeRock. Clear, dark, vibrant, garnet grape juice. Astringent, complex berry compote nose. Less blueberry, more mulberry. Very unfermented scent. Taste is deep sangria, Beaujolais, blackberry flavor. Tart, maybe some vanilla. Brown sugar somewhere? Very dry finish. No honey leftovers. Low perceived abv. Pretty good.

Bottle pour @TreeRock. Shiny, clear, gold. Acidic, sweet, cherry & orange scent. Mostly dry. Floral, bittersweet, cardboard-y oxidation. Salad-y finish. Some body, but thin. Most of the honey is gone. Heat is on par, if softer than their other barrel treatments. Meh.

Bottle @TreeRock. Short pour. Clear, vibrant gold sheen. Warm, bitter, floral, coffee-ish/oxidized. Mellow, savory mushroom, very bitter, very oxidized but fine. Barrel sweetness doesn't hit till the end. Lingering old coffee. Watery, dry, hidden booze, lacking. Meh.

Bottle pour @TreeRock. Clear, with an almost metallic pale gold sheen. Bitter, spicy, caramelized nose. Honey, cereal grain, apple juice, strong acidity, low tartness, lingering sweet rice starchiness, maybe some oxidation. Soft but obvious pear brandy finish. Mostly dry, super thin, intentionally flat. Okay.

12oz pour at Tree Rock. Opaque, pale straw, somewhat still pour. Smell is light, fresh lavender, lemon oil & beeswax. Taste is mellow lavender that isn't soapy, along with tart, very sugary lemonade. Drier, floral honey & wax finish. Too much lemonade, but the base is good. Sugary, okay carbonation that falls fast, good acid. Drink cold. Okay to good.
