Take away from Hops Hill. Tulip glass @ home. Pale straw, sizzling pour. Clean, sharp apple, a little woodchuck-y booziness. Crazy malic tartness. Bittersweet apples. Pop-like carbonation. This is apple soda. Backdrop of white wine with some lingering skin. No thank you.

Bottle from Hops Hill. Baby Duvel tulip. Running out of glass. Clear pale gold sparkling pour. Smells of yeast & acidic apples flesh. Taste is bittersweet, leaning sweet & slightly macerated. Lingering tartness, creamy mouthfeel. Champagne yeast? Feels lighter then the 7% on the label. Meh.

Bottle from Hops Hill in Fort Greene. Duvel tulip. Clear. Odd orange on red on copper color. Aperol spritz is the right color. Smells like sugar & white zin. Taste is a little better. Granny Smith tartness. Cordial cherry flavor, thin, light, a bit too sweet. Big carbonation. At least it doesn't taste chemically. Whatever.
