Bottle from the Union Square stand. Not sure if they're there year round. $18 or so for a 750, which is on the higher end for a fairly fresh new NYS cider. I also think the name is uncreative, but the product so far has been better then average. Ommegang anniversary glass at home. Mostly clear pale gold body. Quick hitting sizzle & fallback. Smell is un-defining. Mineral-y, green, early pick fruit, a little onion. Taste is pretty good. Tannic to the touch, pithy, sharp fruit, grassy, steel, soft smoke which is a little unique. Lightly bitter, dry crispy finish. Lingering onion, that could be anything else. Thin throughout, obvious but approachable acidity, slightly strong ABV. Refreshing. I liked this.

Bottle from the Union Square Farmer's Market. Sierra Nevada top-heavy Sidecar glass. Pale, foggy, staw-colored body. Smells of apples, yeast, light orange & even fainter papaya. Bitter sharp apples, slight sourness, lemon, lingering bitter rind, saline & yeast. Thin & chalky. Soft, borderline flat carbonation. Bold fruit flavors. Pretty solid.

Bottle from some local wine shop, I forgot which; not important. Huge Schneider Weiss glass. Bottle cap releases with a puff of smoke. Pours out like a frosty tall one. Lingering head, nearly clear pale amber body. Yeast, bubblegum, rind, sharp apples, salt. Taste is a lot like Pinot Grigio, acidic, fruity & strong enough to pass for wine. Leafy & bittersweet at the end makes me reconsider that. A little saline, pepper & more yeast rounds it out. Solidly dry. Very boozy. Not quite quaffable sadly.
