From tap. Pours deep orange/amber with a huge light brown head. Aroma is toffee and a fruity/yeasty note. Flavour is mainly malty caramel sweet, fruity and with some distinct note I’m not able to completely make out (almonds perhaps). Creamy mouthfeel. Bitter finish.

Bottle. It pours a bit hazy, golden-orange with lots of small floaties and a dense off-white head. Yeast, banana, wheat, spicy hints, sweetness and some alcohol in the aroma. The flavor is a bit metallic, with wheat, banana, alcohol, sugar, some spices and weak hoppyness. Full, sweet and warming body and a quite sweet finish with alcohol and fruityness. Dark ruby with a medium lasting, big off-white head and some lacing. Caramel aroma with a little spice and hop. Sweetish caramel flavour, some yeasty spice and fruit, and a touch of hop flavour and bitterness.

Bottled (8.5%) at Man inthe Moon, Stockholm. Cloudy deep golden, rich firm head. Aroma of banana and caramel. Loads of sweet banana liqueur and an evident almondy yeast character. dense in the mouth. Very sweet,but without being cloying. More bold than subtle with some late grassy bitterness and a wealth of warming alcohol.
