Sample on tap at the Crafty Fox. Clear, reddish-orange, with a small, white head. The nose is distinct berries, honey, cloves, and vanilla. Sweet, with a nice, mold, fruity tartness. Light to medium body, creamy, acidic, and smooth. This is a solid, easy, fruity beer.

Taster at the brewery - I was apprehensive when I saw this was made with agave, but thankfully you can’t tell - what they have here is a solid smoked lager - sadly, the smoke is far more present in the nude than the flavor, but it is clean, lightly bready, and all-around a nice beer for a Colorado spring sunset, as the warm day makes way for a light chill in the air.

Tulip at the brewery - this is apparently a collaboration with Black Fox, which I didn’t think was a thing anymore - anyway, as such, it’s a damn fine Saison - hazy straw - dry, moderately bitter, lightly floral, strong but not overstated spiciness, both from the yeast and whatever adjuncts were used (the description doesn’t say) - very mild esters - dry, rustic finish - I really enjoyed it.
