Leicht süßer Antrunk mit dezenter Herbe, die aber als Grundaroma wichtig ist. In ihrer Intensität steigt sie nicht und bleibt so permanent im Hintergrund. Wenig würzig, zum Teil wässrig, auf der anderen Seite sind aber auch frische Apfelnoten vorhanden. In Ordnung. 7/8/8/8/10/8

(bottle) Clear, dark brown colour with a big and beige foamy head. Toast-malty aroma with a present note of molasses, caramel and Bavarian Blockmalz. Sweet flavour, medium to full bodied with a smooth carbonation. Syrupy malty and mildly toasted taste with caramel, notes of beet sugar and a whiff of chocolate; sweet and slightly sticky malty finish with molasses in the aftertaste. A very sweet example of the style. 01.XI.13

Bottle 500ml.Clear medium yellow colour with a average, frothy, good lacing, mostly lasting, white head. Aroma is moderate malty, pale malt, sweet malt, light fruity, light vegetables. Flavour is moderate to light light heavy sweet and moderate bitter with a average to long duration, sweet malt, minerals, malty. Body is medium, texture is oily to watery, carbonation is soft. Bottle. It’s a clear, golden beer topped by small, white head. The aroma is rather malty, with some fruityness. Quite bitter on the palate, with pale malts, fruityness and some pine cones and grass. Medium to full body, soft carbonation and quite dry. Mostly bitter finish, with some grassy, peppery notes. A quite decent on, but rather boring. 130217
