Taste is pineapple rind, coconut, citrus. Mouthfeel is medium side of light-to-medium bodied, smooth texture, average carbonation and crisp, dry finish as taste with lingering mild bitterness. Overall, good to style.

5 oz. pour from the cask as part of a flight at the brewery. It's a clear dark amber (iced tea-to maple syrup) with beige head and good retention and nice lacing. Aroma is roasted earthy malt, mild caramel. Taste follows aroma. Mouthfeel is medium side of light-to-medium bodied with smooth texture, soft carbonation and finish as taste. Overall, not the sweet, caramelly Scottish Ale I'm used to but well made.

Bomber from Bine & Vine. Pours brown with a creamy beige/tan head. Aroma impression is chocolate. Med body or nearly. Flavor is a thinnish chocolate, sort of cocoa. There’s a little oily nuttiness. I’m not a huge brown ale fan, but it’s as good as most and better than many. Finishes dryer than expected.
