Their description as a German Barleywine suits it better than a Sticke Alt. Big, rich malt tone, serious hop balance as well. Lacks that German finesse, sort of more I line with an American Strong Ale. A good one. Unique, 100% must try for anyone who would ever read this.

Tap at WD. Really a Full Mile beer maybe. Hazy, supr unfiltered..not very Bambergush there but a nice balance between the smoked malts and the noble hops.

16oz can. Solid stuff. Excellent mouthfeel, true to style, perhaps leaning a little less into the malt than something you'd find in Germany. Easy drinking, smooth and sublime.

16oz can. Not my first time having it for sure, probably in the backlog. A clean, easy, malt centered beer. Corn gives it some depth, shines in the aftertaste. Simple but sublime, good stuff.
