Huge guzzler - exploded immediately after opening, getting beer over everything, while keeping the bottle still and steady, just a few hours after purchase - losing half of the bottle. Hazy golden coloured body with a large white head about six centimetres tall. Aroma of grass, hay, flowers, light yeast and some softer wheats. Light to Medium-bodied; Strong floral and grassy bites up front with a lot of yeast and dry grain flavours showing through with a touch of the curacao and coriander seed freshness towards the end, all with a very dry and spicey yeast character, especially at the end. Aftertaste shows the grain and coriander seed, but really hones in on the flowers, grass and dry character. Overall, a good enough saison that is very dry and almost has a biere de garde quality, but the fact that it immediately exploded upon opening was a bad factor, even a few hours after purchase. I'm glad I didn't try to age this, take it anywhere or especially fly back home with it, it would definitely have not made the trip. I sampled this 75 cL bottle purchased a few hours ago at Spec's in San Antonio, Texas on 12-October-2019 for $9,49 sampled in my hotel room here in San Antonio, Texas on 12-October-2019.
