I bought a 750 ml bottle at a Total Wine in Austin some time ago. The weather is finally starting to act like fall, time to sample a tripel. Using my Straffe Hendrik large tulip glass, I see a dark gold body with a minimal head of absolutely white foam. I smell yeast, nectarines and a bit of, I swear, bubble gum. The drink is rather appealing, apricots, straw, a floral touch, green apples and meadow. An assertive presence as I have a drink, something I like. A decent brew in a style I like considerably. And it was nice to have the big bottle, don’t see many of them these days.

500mL bottle. Pours cloudy yellow with thin white head. Aroma has acetone and some muddled vegetables. Flavour has very gentle stonefruit, a little bit of funky yeast, mostly muddled starchy vegetables and some chemicals. A bit confused.

500mL bottle, pours a hazy pale golden blonde with a small white head. Aroma has plenty of acidity, a little acetone, and some wild yeast. Flavour has notes of green apple, oak, and a touch of wild yeast. Earthy, muddled, buggy, but not quite integrated well. It's alright.

It's pale, thin head. Soft malt aroma, on the palate it's also fairly soft. Then there's a bit of yeastiness. Light bugs, and mellow wheaty sort of tartness. This one's decent, has a solid pale malt character with decent bugs.
