Bottled. Hazy pale yellowish colour, small white head. Aroma is grains, some yeast and mild citrus. Flavour is quite much the same, still quite pleasant and mellow.

Bottled. Golden colour, no head, quite totally flat. Aroma is fruits, grains, some mild stuff of hops. Flavour is fruits, bready, and some mild nectary notes. Carbonated still, as it gives a nice tickle on the tongue.

bottle from Frankenland. Incredibly yellow beer with a large white head. Malty base with some spicy flavours (saffron?). Spicy, I could imagine it as an ideal accompaniment to a good Indian curry.

bottle from Frankenland. Hazy red colour, I’ve never seen a beer that colour (not counting Berliner Weiße mit Schuss Himbeere, of course). Citrusy hops with a solid malty base, easy drinking ale. Very nice.

bottle from Frankenland, ABV 7.2%. Deep golden, orange colour, creamy eggshell-coloured head. Fruity nose. Full-bodied, solid malty base with lots if intensive citrusy hops. Bitter-sweet character, a real pleasure. A superb beer in my opinion.

bottle from Frankenland. Brown colour, small beige head. Smoky nose. Full-bodied, malty base with hints of chocolate and good smoky flavours. Not as intensive as other smoked beers, but the smokey character is present - not in an aggressive way. Slightly sour.

Tap@Festival der Bierkulturen, Cologne: Deep ruby-amber coloured, stable off-white head with a good lace; smoky-ashy nose with some fruity undertones; moderate to solid dry bitter-sweet flavour, soft and medium bodied; lingering ashy-smoky finish with a dark-malty counterweight. Fine, fine.....
