Bottled. Hazy orange colour, small beige head. Aroma is fruityness, some sweet maltyness as well as mild notes of wheat and yeast. Flavour is caramel malts, some fruits, mild yeast as well as some mild wooden notes.

Bottled (PBF, courtesy of oh6gdx). Clear deep ruby color, small beige head, Caramelly, grassy, sweetish berryish aroma. Sweet fruity (plums) and caramel, alcohol and wineous notes. German barley wine ... huh!

Bottle (bought from fanshop). Reddish amber coloiur, mediumsized brown head. Aroma is sweet fruity and malty notes along with some caramel. Flavour is caramel malts, some alkohol and mild glueish notes. A very wellbalanced.

Bottled. Deep brown colour, small beigeish brown head. Aroma is coffee, caramel malts, some mild fruity/berryish notes as well, Flavour is ashes, coffee, some caramel malts and that’s about it. Yet very pleasant balance.

Bottled (thanks to Oakes/Beershine for sharing!). Golden colour, small head. Aroma is hops, yeast, malts and some very caramelly notes as well. Flavour quite much the same along with aspargus. Very pleasant pils.

Getestet beim LCRBM Im Antrunk, der leicht rauchig daherkommt, vermisst man bereits etwas die Intensität. Diese nimmt zwar zu, bleibt aber doch in einer eher unwichtigen Stärke. Aber auch die typischen Weizenaromen sind nicht wirklich stark vertreten. Mittelmäßig. Test vom 11.9.2007, Gebinde: Glasflasche Noten: 8,7,7,8,-,8 - 7,68

Hazy orange beer, no head left on sample. Smoked herring and malts, smoked à souhait . Smoked, but restrained, or more precise: late action-smoked. Also quite sweet, indicating fairly much restsugars - for a maltery? A little wheat sourishness decrying its identity. Sticky, but OK; medium bodied, seems to be more than its presumed (not verified 5.5% ABV). A bit strange Rauchweizen - but one I tend to like, which is seldom for the combination smoked-wheat.

Mild getreidiger Geruch. Getreidiger, angenehm aromatischer Antrunk mit wenig Herbe und noch wenig spürbarer Hopfennote. Milder und hellmalziger Abgang, in dem das Getreide leicht hervorlugt. Gelungen!
