Bottle from Drankenhandel Leiden. Grassy herbal hop with notes of minerals, grain, hint of lemon. Moderate bitter with a dry finish, light bodied but a lot of joy for its mere 2.2% abv.

500ml Bottle - Light amber with a small head. Smoked ham and some malty notes in the aroma. The smoky notes are less evident in the taste as they are balanced with some bready and slightly biscuity notes along with a hint of marmalade.

Bottle 50 cl. Pours an almost clear amber with a solid and creamy, beige head leaving some lacework. Distinct, fat and bacony Bamberg smoke aroma. Medium body, sweet and caramelly again with smoky accents, but less pronounced than in the nose. Subdued bitterness. 080725

Unclear amber with a creamy head. Lemon zest, smoke, caramel, slightly resinous, grapefruit, dark bread. Dry zesty bitterness, light smoky umami, some dry sourness. Medium bodied, oily texture, soft carbonated, dry zesty smoky bitter sourish finish. Tasty and crisp Rauchbier, not that much Rauch character.

Draft.
A- Yellow color, clear liquid, white head.
A- Smoke, faint grain.
F- Smoke, faint bitterness, malt, grain.
T- Medium body, average texture, average carbonation, balanced finish.
O- A nice smoke flavor that is light enough to allow the base beer through. Good umami flavor without turning into a ham brine. Not enough rauches in the world.

Thanks omhper! Amber colour, small off-white head. Aroma is smoked, some slight floral, grassy and mildly earthy tones. Flavour is smoked, some floral, grassy, some mild earthy and bready tones to it. Mellow. Could do with a bit more smoke to it.

Bottle. Color: Lightly hazy orangish golden, stable white head. Aroma: Bread, malty, hints of grass. Taste: Bread, starting malty, moderate sweetness, some grass, hints of toast. Going towards a more hoppy finish, with a nice dry-ish bitterness. Medium body, just below average carbonation. Very nice Märzen.
