Tap. Pours clear copper, small beige head, good lacing. Aroma is malty, toffee, dark sugars, dates, charred wood. Flavor is medium sweet at least, light plus bitter. I don't think this is BA, but it is a pretty good standard English Barleywine.

Tap. Pours clear black, small off-white head, decent lacing. Aroma is bourbon, roast, cocoa, hints of vanilla. Flavor is medium sweet, medium bitter. Medium body. This is not a bad beer if you like bourbon (excuse me, wheat wine), but in the end the beer doesn't have the backbone to support the booze. Fortunately there is about the right amount of vanilla; too much and it would be gross. The end product is not bad at all, but does not really stand out.
