Tap at Barquentine - hazy glowing orange pour, pretty much no head or lacing - nose is loaded with saison yeast esters and ginger - flavor is highly estery, with some peppery phenolics and strong, earthy carrot/root veggie character - with each sip, the carrot becomes more apparent to me and I'm not sure I like it - finish has lingering esters and some floral character - meh.

Red brown with a huge tan head that lingered. Sweet with intense pineapple, cherry and apricot and undertones of sugar and walnut. Boozy but in a way that works well. Exceptionally long finish. Full bodied. Outstanding
