On tap in a flight at the brewery. Clear, yellow color, with a white ring. The aroma is orange peel, dust, white sugar, light pine, and caramel. Sweet and a bit yeasty, with a sharp, clean bitterness. Light body, crisp, and a little sticky. This is a solid, surprisingly good American kolsch.

Sample at Collaboration Fest on 03/25/2017. Hazy straw-gold color with a medium thin white head that evaporates steadily to a wispy film. Short stringy lacing. The aroma consists of funky yeast, fruit and malt. Medium body with flavors of funky brett, tropical fruit and malt. The finish is funky and fruity with a brett aftertaste. Decent overall.

Taster at the brewery - listed as 8% abv - black pour with a moderate off-white lace - nose of light smoke and chocolate - creamy texture, but a little thin - flavors of milk chocolate, coffee, smoke, tootsie rolls - some berry in the background - sweet finish with a countering harsh acidity and roast - fairly significant alcohol presence - not very good.

Taster at the brewery - clear dark gold - headless - sugary aroma, with some moderate alcohol presence - flavor is all sugar, booze, rubbing alcohol - there is some moderate yeast spiciness and floral character in the finish, but most of the experience is simply not good.

Taster at the brewery - dark gold with a light red tint to it - nose has light tropical fruit, mild yeast phenolics (pepper, mostly), and faint cherry skin - fairly frothy carbonation makes up for the otherwise thin texture and flavor - the approach doesn’t have much going on besides some mild tart cherry - the back end at least adds some dry grain and peppery phenols that eventually lead to a spicy finish - some lingering semi-sweet notes of gingerbread - drinkable but bland.

Taster at the brewery - dark gold to light Amber n color - mild aroma of toasty grain and faint hops, but the nose is clean, at least - flavor is medium dry, toasty, with light mineral - mild huskiness and faint background notes of butter, so somewhat unclean - slightly crisp finsh with some pepper hops - needs cleaning up.
