(bottle) Clear, deep golden colour with a mid-sized, slightly yellow coloured foamy head. Sweet and grainy malt aroma with a moderate touch of smoke and faint hoppy notes. Light-sweet flavour, light to medium bodied with a well-carbonated and soft mouthfeel. Soft grainy malty base with a moderate but distinctive smoky touch; the smoked flavours get a bit stronger towards the finish, which is furthermore delicately bitter and hoppy finish. Smooth and quaffable smoked beer (12.12.07).
