Review based on the BJCP2015 guidelines (style 6B). Bottle 50 cl - Batch unknown (BBF unknown). AROMA: medium malty aroma with a low smoky background note (slight burnt wood and bacon). APPEARANCE: amber color and clear. medium beige head, creamy, with good retention. TASTE: initial medium malty flavor with slight maillard compounds (bread crust), followed by medium-low smoky notes (woody, faint bacon). medium bitterness with a dry finish. PALATE: medium to medium-low body with medium carbonation. OVERALL: a very nice and balanced rauchbier.

Just a slightly smoked and malty aroma and flavor. Almost smoked like an Islay malt whisky. Medium to full bodied. Just a touch of peachy fruitiness. Lovely beer, suitable for most beer drinkers taste, but with a "bite" that makes it an interesting beer.

Smoked ham aroma and flavor. Medium bodied. Raw and unpolished. Relatively short afteratste, with smoke and almost tar-like. Recommended.

Deep golden color, firm creamy head, fading away slowly. Grassy orange aroma and flavor. Some hopbitterness, especially in the aftertaste. Gets a bit buttery as the beer warmens up.
