Capped 500 from Tavour. Pours clear bright gold with a slight, transient white head. Aroma is a little different. Suggested smoke at first, but then absinthe came to mind. Med body. Seems dry. Flavor is quite different. I'll go with absinthe/wormwood. Maybe some real wood too. Recommended for a different flavor!

Can from Tavour: pours light copper with an off white head. Aroma is bubblegum, sarsaparilla, woody. Sweetish, but with nice dry notes in the finish.

Can from Tavour. Pours amber/brown with a decent creamy tan head. Aroma is light toffee with some floral hop. Near med body. Malty but fairly towards dry. Definitely bitter. Flavor is light toffee, some floral hop, and possibly a touch of Noble hop. Seems to have a light spice note. Really good ale.

Undated can drunk 6/10/26.
That weird greyish tint to it that always makes me think oxidation...
Nose seems to confirm. No overt oxidation but malt is prevalent. Hops reduced to only vague fruitiness (or is that the yeast). Nothing offensive, but this isn't that old and I've kept it in the fridge, so it shouldn't smell like vague fruit and heavy graham cracker.
Bitterness up front leads to sweet, bready malt notes suggesting liquified graham cracker with honey. Again, there is no distinct hop flavor, just vague bitterness and bread that is going stale. A shame. Maybe my other can wasn't affected?
2nd can had a better pop to it, but obviously this must be hotside aeration, as this beer is extremely carbonated and has a large, well-retained head. Same candy-like sweetness, vague bitterness and no distinct hop flavor.

In the can aromas are citrus, musty, resin, tropical fruit and malt. Changes a little bit in the glass to malt and tropical fruit coming out more. Flavors are somewhat similar to nose and better. Citrus comes out more with decent body and good carbonation.

But quite mild aromas are citrus and dry grain. Flavors are similar to nose. Mildly sweet. Good carbonation and medium body. A little bit of Band-Aid. Definitely not one of their better brews.

Aromas are malt, citrus, resin and a bare hint of onion. Flavors are similar to nose. Very slightly more sweet than bitter or tart adding in some tropical fruit. Decent but not special.

Aromas are slightly sweet malt, toast and a hint of caramel. Flavors are similar to nose with excellent carbonation to balance. Really good bock beer.
