Description

330ml bottle. Cloudy, copper-ish, brown colour with average to huge, fluffy, moderately lasting, minimally lacing, off-white to beige head. Sweet-ish, minimally toasty and nutty, wheaty malty, yeasty spicy and yeasty fruity aroma, notes of banana, baked banana, a touch of pear and red apple, some clove, whiffs of cinnamon. Taste is initially sweet-ish, minimally toasty and nutty, wheaty malty, yeasty fruity and yeasty spicy, notes of banana, baked banana, clove, later more yeasty spicy and more explicitly phenolic; almost purely yeasty spicy (clove) in the finish. Watery texture, minimally dry palate, medium to coarse, prickly to lively carbonation. Nice composition, sadly rather overcarbonated and minimally flawed - good base for some refinement.

330ml bottle. Minimally cloudy, dark ruby colour with small to average, frothy, half-way lasting, minimally lacing, off-white to beige head. Sweet-ish, slightly sugary, caramel malty and slightly spicy as well as yeasty fruity aroma, hints of dried fruit, raisin, plum, a touch of cinnamon. Taste is sweet-ish, minimally sugary, caramel malty, slightly yeasty fruity and yeasty spicy, notes of dark caramel, hints of dried fruit, raisin, plum, some cinnamon, the presence of alcohol can't be denied. Dissolved sugar enriched, watery texture, minimally repellent, simultaneously minimally cloying palate, medium to fine, mildly prickly carbonation. Neither overly rich nor deep, a tad too sweet and sugary, nice cinnamon touch - improvable.

Huge thanks to Erzengel for sharing! Bottle looks very simple but good. Beer in the glass dark brown, almost black. Roasty malty aroma. Starts intense roasty malty, some coffee hints, bitter background. Woody-earthy notes as well. Finish well balanced, less roasty. Mild alcoholic. Interesting!
