About
We are a small blendery operation located at The Grainworks in Hertfordshire, UK. Our focus is on producing 100% spontaneously fermented beers aged in traditional vessels such as oak barrels.

The aim is to source our ingredients as close to the Blendery as possible. We work with farmers and growers directly, and promote their amazing produce through our beers, our website and social media.

Our work is seasonal. We brew in the cold months and fruit in the warm. Each beer we make is of that year. It is of that season and it cannot be replicated anywhere else in the world.

Tap. Hazy ruby color with white head. Aroma is a bit vineous, grapes, sweet cherries and berries. Taste is yoghurt, sweet cherry, a bit sweet, quite vineous too. Oily mouthfeel, natural carbonation. Solid!

Bottle. Unclear golden color with white head. Aroma is peach, citric, mild grassiness, good funk. Taste is white wine, a bit sweetish, but good balance. Oily mouthfeel, low carbonation. Good!

Bottle drunk in the sun while on holiday. I think it was from Hoptimism. Hazy golden colour with a white head. Aroma and taste are tart fruity, with some funk. Slight dryness. Smooth crisp body.

Bottle shared with Sarah at the taproom opening. A hazed brushed gold orange coloured pour with a lasting white froth. Aroma is delicate fuzzy peach, plum, almond, light plastic, loose wheat, grains,. Flavour is composed of semi sweet plums, apricot, mineral, grass, loose wheat, mellow funk,. Palate is fine crisp, light tart, fine prickly carbonation. Very nice.

Tap at the blendery. A light hazed reddish orange coloured pour with a lasting fine off white head. Aroma is nice stone fruit, musty funk plum yogurt, mineral. Flavour is composed of gentle gunk, bitter fruit skins Victoria plum,, some mineral, grass. Palate is fine delicate fine carbonation. Twisy of citrus bitterness in the finish. Lovely delicate funk and fruit.

Tap at the beer shop St Albans. A mostly clear golden orange coloured pour with a loose white head. Aroma is tart, crisp light grains, mineral, apricot, fuzzy peach, light yogurt funk. Flavour is composed of tart and tangy fruit, peach, apricot, mineral. Palate is tart and tangy. Moderate carbonation. Good funk.
