Tap @Bruuveri 9.11.2011. Poured hazy amber color with a frothy white head. Pine and fruity hoppy aroma. Flavor has grapefruit and sweet fruity notes along with some berries towards finish. Bitter finish. Medium bodied with an oily mouthfeel. Quite refreshing.

Pours pitch black with a tiny sticky brown head. Aroma has notes of roasted malts, licorice and alcohol. Strong roasty and hoppy taste with heavy notes of licorice, salmiakki and anis. Finish is sticky and sweet, lightly bitter. Okay, although a bit unbalanced imperial stout.

(Draught at the brewpub, 20111101) The beer poured black. Its head was medium sized, dense and light brown. Aroma had lot of hops and also some roasted malts. Palate was full bodied and warming with medium carbonation. Flavours were pine, resin, roasted malts, sweetness, alcohol and bitterness. Aftertaste was almost burning and had ash and bitterness. Very hoppy imperial stout. Its taste was ok but aroma was not pleasant.

Draught@Bruuveri. Deep rubyish black colour, small beigeish brown head. Aroma is rather strong cascade, roasted malts, some slight floral notes and mild coffeeish notes. Flavour is quite similar with a big hoppy finish. Balanced. Interesting superhopped porter.
