Sampled from a 12 oz brown bottle this beer poured a light caramel-amber color with a huge creamy-soapy orange-white head that lingers and left good lacing. The aroma was very malty, vegetal and sweet. The flavor was very sweet corn, vegetal malts and a bit of pretzel dough. Long finish with a growing vegetal presence. Moderately full bodied and very smooth. Ok.

From a clear bottle with a nifty pull ring cap. Smell is just like real grapefruit juice, does not seem artificial. Taste is also quite real in grapefruit juice experience, mind you, not bitter grapefruit juice but like pink sweeter grapefruit juice. Very easy to like. When I think of fruit beers, this is what I imagine. Very good carbonation as well. Funny thing about it is that I’m not sure it really is a beer, more like grapefruit soda, yummy! The look is of pink grapefruit juice as well. Can barely taste any hint of beer in there. Too bad itsa all gone, could drink a sixer of this and still be happy. Yes, great stuff IMHO.

Thanks to quack-duck for that one! Bottle looks good. Beer in the glass zippy, small head. Starts mild but not washy, malty, a bit grasy-moldy. Finish thiner and a bit boring. Okay.

(Keg at InterTank, Berlin, 20140421) The beer poured golden and clear. ITs head was medium sized and white. Aroma was mild and grassy. Palate was quite light bodied with medium carbonation. Flavours were grass, sweetness and bitterness. Aftertaste was bitter. A watery helles.

Buddel(Danke, Stefan!):Chestnut-amber coloured, lots of clumps visible, stable off-white head, slightly caramelly and toasty nose with a sourish-wheaty background; light to moderate sweetish-sourish flavour with a light tartness underneath, quite soft nevertheless; some chocolatey-bitter traces in the fruity-caramelly finish. Quite OK …
