Pours a quite translucent hazy dark amber. Doesn't get much head, shows decent persistence though. No lacing. Reasonably intense aroma, where a far from restrained sweet malty base (caramel mainly) is followed by soft, jam-like fruity notes (orange most clearly detectable) and by an underlying half grassy, half resinous note. Relatively simple, but pleasantly soft while retaining a nice fresh feeling. Taste notes follow the aroma, plus maybe a hint of rye-like crispness, but the rye component feels overall pretty minimal. Sweetish in both taste and aftertaste (hoppy notes still bring a decent refreshing feel, though), perhaps a bit too sweet in a not too dry finish/aftertaste. Light to medium in body, average carbonation, a very easy drinker for the style. A fine enough one on the overall.

From one beer shop, at Bologna. A pleasant and delicious milk stout, a kind of beer hard to find, in Switzerland, roasted malt, creamy, 04.08.19, at Bonfol

0.33 l bottle from 'Gastrodrink', best before April 2024. Hazy, deep golden with a medium large, slightly fluffy, slowly diminishing, white head. Sweetish, quite yeasty-spicy, slightly fruity-floral aroma of banana, honey, some clove and a touch of pear. Gently sweet, moderately bitter, rather yeasty-spicy taste of banana, clove, wheat and light pear, followed by a short, moderately bitter, slightly dry finish. Almost medium-bodied, heavily effervescent mouthfeel, lively carbonation. Decent flavours, but spoiled by way too much effervescence. Not convincing.
