Draught @ Bryggeri Helsinki, as okkaline #2. Pours orange with a small bubbly head. Aroma of berries, caramely malts, toffee, hints of pine and fruits. Taste is sweet, stuffy and malty with some mildly tart berries, toffee and stuffy yeastiness. Finish is sweet, malty and caramely with some stingy berries and hops. A bit messy.

330ml bottle [courtesy of Frank from Bielefelder Biersalon, thank you very much!]. Murky golden colour with small to average, frothy, half-way lasting, minimally lacing, white head. Strawy, yeasty, minimally tartish aroma, a touch of sauerkraut and protein, grainy-biscuity malty background. Taste is minimally tart, strawy, biscuity, a touch of sauerkraut and lemon, subtle sweetness. Zwickel-Berliner Weisse crossover Golden Ale with homebrew-ish relict.

Bottled@SADESA. Copper colour, small off-white head. Aroma is apple, roasted notes, tart wood. Flavour is fruity, mild ashes and toast.

33cl bottle from Uba ja Humal, Tallinn. Pours close to clear pale golden with a fairly large, white head. Moderate malty aroma with yeasty, fruity and moderately hoppy notes. Moderate sweet with fairly pleasant flavours and a nice bitterness. Light to medium body and quite fizzy. To high carbonation for my taste, but otherwise quite okay.

(Bottle, 0.33 l - BB 05/2016, at Silja Symphony, 20151026) The beer poured deep amber and hazy. Its head was medium sized and white. Aroma had pine, tart citricness and yeast. Palate was medium bodied with medium carbonation. Flavours were fruitiness, sweetness, herbalness, malts, yeast and bitterness. Aftertaste had hops, yeast and bitterness. A complex mess of the flavours from yeast and hops. Not bad but not pleasant in every way either.

(Bottle, 0.33 l - BBE 01/2017 - as Vormsi Norrby Dunkel, at Silja Serenade, 20151026) The beer poured dark brown and clear. Its head was medium sized and nearly white. Aroma had chocolate, molasses and grass. Palate was medium bodied with medium carbonation. Flavours were burnt malts, chocolate, sweetness, malts and bitterness. Aftertaste was sweet and bitter. A bit messy brew that had good characteristics and then something that wiped the good parts away.

Bottle, BB 05.2016 (from UJH, Tallinn). Pours golden with off-white head. The head stays. Aroma is fruits, citrus, malt, faint grains. Flavor is sweet, fruits, grains, citrus. Finish is dry bitter. Body is rather watery. Overall: nice summer drink.

Bottle @ Tallink ferry. Pours deep brown with a thin off white head. Medicine notes, anise, licorice aroma. Flavor has medicine, roasted malt, slight burntness, aniseed. Bitter hoppy finish. Tasty stuff!

[ As Gambrinuse Õllepood Radiaator ].Clear with tiny - small sized body particles, a medium red orange color with a average to large, frothy, fair lacing, mostly diminishing, off-white head. Aroma is moderate malty, caramel, caramelized malt - sugar, dusty nuts, bread - vegetable notes. Flavor is moderate to light heavy sweet with a average duration, sugary sweet malt, dark malt - caramel malt. Body is medium, texture is oily to watery, carbonation is soft. [20150620]
