Review based on the BJCP2021 guidelines (style 21A). Can 44 cl - Batch 040722 (BBF 04.01.23). AROMA: medium-high to high hop aroma with notes of lime, fresh-green, grapefruit, mint, citrus zest. medium-low soft neutral malt background with a slightly sweet character. APPEARANCE: light yellow body and slightly hazy. low white head with low retention. TASTE: similar to the aroma with initial medium hop flavour (fresh-green, slight lime and mint). low soft and neutral malt background with slight sweetness. high bitterness with a dry and overly bitter finish. MOUTHFEEL: medium-low body with medium-low carbonation. slight astringency from high bitterness. OVERALL: an IPA with an interesting hop presentation that is overwhelmed in the flavour by a high bitterness, impairing the palate a bit.

Orange peel and pine. Light green onion. These guys are definitely the most qualified IPA brewers I've come across in Portugal. This one isn't quite at the standard of their West Coast IPA, that being said. Golden hazy pour with good head and lacing. Light hoo tang in the finish, some sweetness and bitterness. Can from Outro Lado.

Solid IPA. Passion fruit and mango. A little grapefruit. Flavours come on strong, kind of more like a NEIPA initially. Then plenty of peel and some green onion. Pours clear golden like a West Coast IPA. Definitely good overall. Tried on recommendation from a dude at the bar at Cerveteca, and didn't disappoint.

TASTE: medium strawberry flavor, more muted than the aroma by a balanced clean lactic presence. finishes of strawberries and slight acidic.
