Capped 500 mL bottle from Ridgeview Liquor, 4/15/23. I like the name, and the fact that it’s labeled an “India Pale Lager” in the world of cold IPAs. This seems like they are saying “Cold IPA” is BS, they are just IPLs with some marketing spin, and not a new style. I will die with them on that hill. Clear gold, medium off-white head, average retention. Aroma of dank hops. Very weed-like. I’ll join them on THAT hill too. Aroma also has pale malt. But really straight Delta-9. Taste is dank, stone fruit, tropical fruit, pine, pale malt. Slick, moderate bitterness. Lots of hills to die on. I like.

Aromas are citrus and a little bit of weed with some mineral and dry grain. Flavors are similar to nose, weed comes out more. More sweet than bitter with good carbonation to balance. Slightly soft mouth and satisfying finish. Decent beer.

Tap at 024. Experimental NZ hop. Definite Riwaka tone, but more fleshed out soft undertones of papaya, honeysuckle, lychee. Not the greatest body, a touch grainy, sweet. A little perfumy. Not an excellent beer, but fun to try.

Very mild hop and malt aromas. Flavors in body are much better. Juicy, citrus, tropical fruit with a slightly more sweet than bitter or tart balance. Very drinkable beer.
