Capped half liter bottle from Wagner Market, 5/21/24. Had to get this because of my job. Does 1840 know Apricity runs some drug treatment programs in Appleton? Apricity is a real thing. Clear amber, large white head, average retention. Aroma of super dank and super weed. Is this unintentionally ironic? Some grapefruit in there. Taste is popcorn, oddly, grapefruit, resin, pine. Weird, but good. Well balanced.

12oz can. Amber-ruby red body, clear. Thin, non head. Pretty enjoyable beer, Amber/Munich malt notes. Delicate noble hop balance. Not really wild about the aroma, but an OK beer overall.

On tap at 1840, pours black with a tiny brown head. Aroma has a strong whiskey barrel expression with a touch of smokiness, with molasses, burnt sugars, and moderate roasted malt. Flavour is more of the same, with deep, smoky whiskey barrel dominating, plenty of dark sugars, molasses, and a touch of roast. Boozy but the barrels are showcased nicely here. Excellent.

On tap at 1840, pours a a cloudy dill golden with a large white head. Aroma has gentle farmhouse notes, rustic saison yeast, and a touch of hay. Flavour is complex for such a low-ABV beer, with plenty of brett, rustic farmhouse notes, and gentle hay. Really well-structured. Excellent.

On tap at 1840, pours a hazy golden with a small white head. Aroma has plenty of spruce tips, lacto, pillowy wheat, and a touch of hay. Flavour is much the same, with dry wheat, gentle lacto, nice spruce top expression, and some hay. Dry, not yogurty at all. Very nice.
